Our father was an active amateur photographer in the 1940s and into the 1950s, experimenting with light and shadow, and giving careful thought to composition. We have linked you to his portfolio, which we gladly share just because we enjoy remembering him.
Eldest child David took this photo of Dad in August 1942. It was 9-year-old Dave's first time using a camera.
